Book Give-Away!!!

I wanted to launch my new blog with style, so I'm doing an awesome GIVE-AWAY!!!!

Here's what you get if you win:

Yay, right? It's Richard Paul Evans' new book, The Christmas List! RPE is my absolute favorite author and when this book arrives at my home in 3-5 days, I'll have every single one of his books (that I'm aware of).

Not only will you get his new book, but you'll also receive a personalized, autographed name plate to put in the inside cover (or outside, where ever you choose).  Isn't that awesome?

So, here's what you have to do:

Entry #1 - Leave your name and most favorite book as a comment.  (Mine is "I Capture the Castle", by Dodie Smith.) (Bit-o-trivia for you:  She also wrote 101 Dalmations.)

Entry #2 - Become a follower, leave another comment telling me you did so and tell me the name of your least favorite book.  (Mine is "Lord of the Flies".  Dumb and dumb.)

Entry #3 - Add a link to this give-away to your blog and leave yet another comment telling me that you did so, with the link provided, please.

I'll do the drawing Monday morning via Random.org.  If you're not a RPE fan, you can always use this book as a gift for someone else.  Just an idea.  Also, if you don't win, and still want the book, Amazon and BN.com have great deals on it if you pre-order before October 6th.  (The links provided will take you right there.)

I'm so excited!! Good Luck!!!

And now I'm a follower and my least favorite is The Scarlet Letter. It is the only book that has ever put me to sleep when I wasn't even tired. (The only time I ever fell asleep at school!)

By the way this is a great idea!!!! I don't know if you would want to, but you might consider adding people (you know and trust) as authors on the blog and then they can add reviews too (if you don't want it to be only you working on it). I have a friend who has a recipe blog like that. But either way I'm super excited for this new blog!

I am a follower now too! My least favorite book? Ummm...not too sure. There have a been a few my kids have chosen at the library that I wasn't too fond of, but other than that, I don't think I've seen a book I haven't liked!

My favorite book: Either "Little Women" by Louisa May Alcott or "Pride and Prejudice" by Jane Austen.

I'm a follower. And my least favorite: "Moby Dick" - I must have started that one at least half a dozen times, never finished it.

My name is Rebecca and I can't choose a favorite book. I have many favorites, including I Capture the Castle! Another favorite is The Faithful Gardener by Clarissa Pinkola Estes.

Now a follower...
At the moment, my least favorite book is my math text, Mathematics in Our World. Ugh, ugh, ugh. Speaking of not over-taxing the mind; it's an insult to the intelligence and its multi-colored pages are utterly distracting. (Just for the record, I love math, despite my loathing for this particular book!)

My most favorite book? Oh, it's really too hard to choose. I love books that let me get lost in the story. And, I suppose my favorite book changes as life goes on. When I was a girl, I loved "The Black Stallion," "A Wrinkle in Time" and "My Side of the Mountain." Then, I became a Mary Stewart fan and really liked "The Crystal Cave." Not much time for leisurely reading nowadays, but I'll say, for now, my favorite is "The Notebook."
